Early life

Fazer was born to a Jamaican mother and an English father, and was brought up in Camden Town, London. Fazer first met Dappy when they started attending the same karate class, becoming best friends at school. They attended Haverstock School,[1] with third member Tulisa Contostavlos (Dappy's cousin) attending the school for a while as well.

N-Dubz

N-Dubz are a MOBO award-winning group that have had two platinum-selling albums, Uncle B and Against All Odds.

Personal life

Fazer is currently in a relationship with fellow band member Tulisa. They have been dating for the past year although this was only recently revealed at fellow bandmate Dappy's solo No Regrets album launch.

Fazer is also a skilled pianist and was seen breifly playing a piano solo in Dappy's song, No Regrets. He plays the piano when writing songs as seen in Being...N-Dubz.

Along with his N-Dubz colleagues, he appears in the interactive series Dubplate Drama,[2] as the character Flames, although his part isn't as big as Dappy's part as Sleazy, or Tulisa's part as Laurissa. So far, he hasn't appeared in the third season at all.

Fazer is said to be a keen fisher and has said his favourite group to collaborate with would be Outlandish.[3]

In January 2010, police raided Fazer's flat in Chelsea, South-West London, looking for a gun that had been allegedly used in a nearby shooting. They also raided Sensible Studio, where N-Dubz have recorded a large amount of their material but detectives failed to find the weapon and no arrests were made.[4] The same happened to Dappy, about a year earlier after someone had reported to Police that he had been making death threats with a firearm. Fazer was involved in controversy in January 2009 after he and Dappy were hauled off a flight to London, following their "disorderly behaviour".[5]

Solo album

On 26 July 2011, Fazer spoke to the Daily Star for the first time about his plans for a solo album. He stated a few names he may possibly be working with; including Katy Perry, Rihanna and Tinie Tempah. He also went on to reveal the possibility of teaming up with Chris Brown for a single. No other details have been given about the release, other than he is currently working on and recording it. Fazer then said he was "fed up" of N-Dubz split rumors. He told the Daily Star, "We [N-Dubz] have a new single coming out in November 2011 and are thinking about repacking the Love.Live.Life album or doing a Best Of. We'll be performing on The X Factor and joining Tulisa at judges' houses". However this didn't happen and Tulisa took number 1 singer Jessie J to judges houses instead . He also stated that N-Dubz where planning to perform on one of the X-factor live shows, this also never happened.

Charity Work

Fazer appeared on the BBC's 2011 Children In Need Rocks Manchester pop music concert bill along with Dappy, performing at the Manchester Evening News Arena [6].
